Overseeding is a great way of helping a tired, thin and worn looking lawn become that thick, lush green looking Lawn we all want!

To do this we at Shire Lawns can apply seed evenly over your full Lawn(s) area using our Seed Spreaders.
By spreading carefully selected Grass Seed from our Local Suppliers, we can help thicken up the thin areas, and your Lawn will start to look terrific again!
Why should Shire Lawns
Overseed my Lawn?
Overtime, grass gets tired, old and needs to be replaced. Worn-out Lawns invite weeds and diseases. Overseeding can become a fast and inexpensive option to help return your Lawn to it’s former glory days without having to rip it up.
When can Shire Lawns Overseed?
Our recommendations would be in the Autumn when soil temperatures are still warm but the air is cooler, and there are fewer weeds for the new grass to compete against. If the Autumn is not possible then Spring will be the next best option.
Overseeding after Machine Work such as Aeration and Scarification would always be a Shire Lawn recommendation.
